Boot You Lose Tournament Rules :
Welcome to the "Boot You Lose" Rated Tournaments. We are proud to be Zone Endorsed. Please take time to review and know the zone code of conduct.
1. This is a DOUBLE ELIMINATION Tournament. You must lose twice to be out of the tournament. All matches are to 3 points, except for the FINAL match, which is set to 5 points. If a match is not set correctly, leave your table, come back, and restart with the 3 points.
Rule 2. Assignments and all other Tournament Statements will be typed by the Host and/or Cohost only. Microsoft does not allow the use of all capital letters in the lobby.
Rule 3. Doubling is allowed in the match. However, AUTO-DOUBLES must be set to OFF when you start the match. The Crawford Rule is enforced by the zone program.
Rule 4. Do not leave your table for any reason once your match has started. Anyone that leaves for whatever reason will forfeit that match only since the zone program will not restore rated matches.
Rule 5. Match WINNERS only report your win in the lobby like this *** me over you @ 104 *** Please put the *** in front and behind your report as it helps me see it in the lobby.
Rule 6. You may kibitz any match in progress, however, you may not disrupt the game play. Kibitzers may be silenced by either player, but we ask that you leave kibitzing ON so that the HOST may view your match.
Rule 7. Any disputes, problems, or questions should be addressed to the Host. We are always out here while you are playing to give assistance should it be needed.
Rule 8. Sometimes you may have to wait for another table to finish before you can begin the next match. Please be patient - we will make the assignments as soon as possible.
Rule 9. For FIRST round only, do not start until instructed by the HOST. For Second and all following rounds, you may start as soon as both players are seated.
Rule 10. No one may play in two matches at the same time. Anyone found doing so will forfeit their match and be automatically disqualified from the tournament.
